Tilt Relation’s President, Cassidy v. Ros, combines her 20 years of experience in government relations, marketing and business development within construction trades and building code policy, resource recovery and circular economy, with first hand experience living as a person with a disability, and a large network of resources and supports to strengthen all 3 pillars. With a compassionate eye for the often-overlooked details, Cassidy aims to provide not only recommendations, but education her clients can continue to utilize throughout their accessible-development projects.
General
After experiencing injuries due to an MVA in 2020, Cassidy shifted her research and policy focus to accessibility, disability and healthcare justice. After a couple years of exploring that space, and many directional networking conversations later, she returned to the circular economy, with a goal of increasing accessibility within waste management and climate action programs.
With over 14 years of experience in business development and strategic marketing, government relations, policy research and consulting, Cassidy's portfolio is extensive, including features by the Wall Street Journal and the Globe and Mail. Taking a collaborative, results-driven approach, Cassidy has successfully helped companies grow their revenue and reputation through the development of appropriate industry legislation, public speaking, social media and online advertising, earned media opportunities and TV production, refining sales processes and nurturing client relationships.
Her diligence and tenacity when researching and making connections with decision makers have enabled her to engage in meaningful legislative opportunities to keep the communities she works in affordable, accessible and sustainable. Cassidy has collaborated with community leaders in Canada and the US at a Municipal, Regional, Provincial and Federal level.
